Dr. Jose A. Cisneros, MD, PhD, is a retired radiologist and biomedical engineer with over four decades of experience. He has been a trailblazer in incorporating biomedical engineering and computer technology into medical practice, and has authored numerous works in the area of medical applications of computers.Dr. Cisneros earned his MD from Central University of Venezuela and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia. He pursued further studies in Health Science and Technology at MIT, specializing in Digital Diagnostic Imaging at Thomas Jefferson University. With over 40 years of experience in medical practice, teaching, and research in Radiology and Biomedical Engineering, he is widely respected in both clinical and academic circles. Liliana Gavidia, PhD – Lisa is a health IT biomedical engineer with a PhD degree in Biomadical Engineering. She has worked with numerous healthcare organizations to implement Electronic Health Record systems and develop interoperability solutions. Liliana Gavidia is a professional with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. She also holds a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Simón Bolívar University.
